My name is Ivan Solas. I'm a musician and composer from Belarus, a country in Eastern Europe. I play the Celtic harp, pan flute, flute, and piano. In my childhood, I played the trumpet and it was the main instrument in my music education then. But years later I became a big fan of harp music. I was influenced by the neofolk projects and musicians: Alizbar, Caprice, and Olga Maximova. They inspired me to play the Celtic harp. In 2022 it is 10 years that I have I played the harp.
My first harp was made by Prohor Lapin, a master from Russia. Later I bought the Harpsicle Harp (electro acoustic harp). I compose music all my life but officially I published the first album in 2013 with the title Lumiere Tales - Elven Forest.
Lumiere Tales is a music project where I combine the Celtic harp sound, flute, piano with electronic music, neofolk, and even rock. You can find Lumiere Tales music on my Youtube channel.

I published three albums: Elven Forest (2013), Le Coeur du Vent (2014), Lunarium (2019), and singles: Equinox (2020), Wounded Bird (2021).
Harp also inspired me to create a short animated film "The Fable: Mystery of the Harp". In 2017, I presented it at international film festivals.
As a musician and composer, I cooperate with the Theater Dom Solntsa in Minsk (director Galina Savelyeva).
We create interactive music and theater performances for children. They have the opportunity to listen to different musical instruments during our show and even participate in the spectacle. Light drawing with the Celtic harp is one of our favorite performances. It's a concert and light show. We perform in museums, schools, art-centers; participate at the festivals in Belarus and other countries (Russia, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, France, and Austria).
In 2018 I participated in the international harp festival Outlyre in Austria (host Sabine James). Nowadays I try to cooperate with international artists and musicians.
Interesting fact: on the Lumiere Tales YouTube channel, you can find the video Morning. The idea of the video - crane as a symbol of peace and international friendship flies around the world. Musicians and friends from different countries sent me video clips of the paper crane. I combined it in one video. I'm grateful to Michael-David for the support of this idea and participation.
